The project will begin with demolition, including the removal of walls, ceiling, electrical, the existing doorway to the deck, base and window trim, and flooring (to be saved for the customer). The floor vent will be removed and salvaged for the owner, and a portion of the closet entry wall will be taken down.

Once demolition is complete, new work will include installing updated electrical throughout, hanging and finishing new sheetrock walls and ceiling with a smooth finish, and laying a new tile floor. A new insulated north wall will be constructed to house the shower plumbing, with the north window jamb extended and trim reinstalled. The existing door to the deck will be walled off, all exterior walls insulated, and customer-supplied siding installed on the exterior. The closet will be converted into a linen area with five shelves, and a new entry linen wall—approximately six inches thick—will be built and shifted west to allow space for the new tub.

The bathroom will be outfitted with a dual bowl vanity, one or two mirrors, one or two vanity lights, a toilet, and a 3’ x 5’ all-tile shower in the northeast corner. The shower will include a concrete tile base, tiled walls, a tile shampoo niche, a shower valve with supply lines and showerhead, and a glass wall provided by a glass manufacturer (no door included). A clawfoot tub will be set with its feet and faucet installed.

Additional features will include flush-mounted LED ceiling lights, a vent fan vented to the exterior, two new GFI outlets, a new light switch, and a customer-supplied cover for the HVAC vent near the chimney.
